Most of the premature failures in this area are caused by misalignment between the pto housing and the hydro pump. The replacement hub coupler has a grease zerk in it. This change occurred a couple years back on new machines. One good place to use moly grease. If updating a machine, the new coupler should come with directions on where to drill a hole in the hat housing to allow access to the coupler.
