I have found that the plastic inserts that you would rivet to the feeder drum(stone retarder) in the 2 channels are some of the best valued items from CIH.
I changed out my first feeder chain at 2150hrs and and there was probably life left in it,but it was the end of the season so I changed it the following season and also because I've heard from a friend what happens when one lets go at harvesting rpm's,not pretty!
My previous combine didn't have them and the chain would last approx. 1200 hrs.
Seems your tension is correct.
I'll try to put chain lube on every time the heads are off at the front of the feeder house with it running at idle.
