I have a 972 header on my swather & would like to use it on my 1688. I was told by a Macdon engineer that the 873 adapter was the best one to get. I was also told by a Macdon saleaman that the 873 couldnt be put on a CaseIH combine, he said I had to use a 872 adapter. I would like to use an 873 for its ability to float better. Thanks.
