I was wondering about a winter trip somewhere in the January February time frame, thinking about a drive down through the great plains to Kansas or Oklahoma and across to Florida in a year or so and then a different route home maybe over to Washigton D.C. and back west towards Missouri Iowa area before heading north again. Just wondering what type of winter weather is "usual" if such a thing as you go south, when do you traditionaly run out of snow and constant freezing temperatures? Also what are some things to see, I know of some of the combine and tractor plants but wouldn't mind seeing some of the other agriculture related things that I don't get to see up here in Canada. Also historical and other such things to give me an some ideas to help plan a route. Any suggestions welcomed, so much to see, so little time.
