I just saw a 7010 for the first time on Friday at the dealership. I may be mistaken but it looks as if it will be lots easier to work on than the old style combines. It looks as if there is a lot more room to work on the rotor, engine, hydrostat, etc. The only thing that looks more difficult to replace is anything on the cleaning fan and the bushings on the sieves. I know that its a lot more complicated because of the hydraulic drives. Unfortunately, it may be several years before one ever sees my farm. But overall, I was extremely impressed with the way it was designed. That may be a first, that something new is easier to work on than something old.
