"most" later 1680s have the long sieves like the 88s. About the only difference that comes to mind on an 88 is the cross flow fan. But you can add that to a 1680 too. Biggest thing to watch for on a combine of that age is condition of electrical. Mice, moisture, etc. Everything else can be fixed with wrenches, torch & welder.
