We only do a small amount of wheat with the 2388, 20 acres here, and 50 acres there, don't want to trailer a 25' for those small fields. 90% of the hours it will be thrashing with a 1015 belt pickup in grass seed, and sugar beets.

Maybe you should try the beets, it will use all the horsepower the 2388 has. Or whatever you are running.

How would you know what is plenty for me? just because I want a 20' header.
