I had the same problem with mine. I added to the flighting to make both sides come to the center of the auger. I only use 6 fingers now. Some fingers need to be removed for the flighting. Also cut wheat high enough so when wheat is falling into the header the heads of wheat just hit auger and fall right on down under the auger. It works good for me.
