Heavy wheat straw preventing notil beans

I have tried to no till beans behind my 1688 combine but have been prevented because of heavy wheat straw. I have the large straw deflectors which give a good spread and have speeded up roter but straw is still too much. Thinking of disrupters or chopper. Any comments about either appreciated.
