we combine grass seed with a 1680 standard rotor. We get a lot of rotor noise, because grass can be very tough crop to combine. Would it help if we removed the straight cylinder bars on the front of the rotor so the grass would not be slowed down at that point. So we would get less noise an better feeding of the crop.
