I am new to this website and am still finding my way around. I posted this topic in the general section before I found this section specifically for settings.
We have a 2188 with the Rochelle rotor. It is pretty easy to set with drier corn, but it can be a real pain with wetter corn. I am running the rotor at 380 to 400. I have my concaves set around three or three and a half. At these settings I am showing a lot of rotor loss on the grain loss monitor. I slowed the rotor to around 350 and backed off the concaves a little and immediately noticed kernels left on the cobs. I would appreciate any help setting this thing. I forgot to mention that we are harvesting 25% to 26% moisture corn with not much life left in the plant. Yield is between 180 and 190 dry. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Thank you.
