You can run your concave a little tighter. I ran the wheat harvest this summer and probably ran the concave from 1.0 - 1.5. Might be just too much room between the rotor and concave and it's flowly too freely and out the back. Another thing is it depends on how fast you are going. You can run a 2188 pretty fast in wheat. You want to keep the rotor full to obtain optimum grain-on-grain threshing, and the rotor might just be too empty.

One way you can check to see if it's rotor loss is using your grain loss monitor. You can set it for sieves, rotor or both. Normally you run on both but switch it to sieves and watch the needle to see if it jumps and do the same with the rotor. That can give you an idea of where your loss is coming from.
