normal procedure here is to open the concaves until grain appears on the cob, then close concaves until it don't.
then slow the rotor until it begins to leave grain on the cob, then increase the speed until it don't.
if concaves or rotor bars are worn, replace them...they are costing your money whether or not.
we are using Gordon bars, concaves, and air jet chaffer, changed over as the bars and concaves wore...air jet chaffer is best thing we have ever added...just bought the concaves, they look like the best deal yet, will know in a day or two.
