You need to look at the area directly behind the top edge of the wear bar. If you are in need of replacement you will find the impeller will be worn to almost a sharp edge getting wider the deeper you go into the combine. At the point where the impellers get that worn they will start to push the material more outward rather than starting it to spin. This increases wear in the transition cone area. you will also start to get flex in the impeller and this makes the problem worse. Mick
