What does anyone know about the differences in the old wood block style cranks and the new aluminum style bearings. Are there any problems associated with either system. We are having problems breaking walkers at the front cranck shaft. The walker itself is cracking and totally breaking out in some cases. Our older combine has wood bearings, has 2100 seperator hours and never a problem. Is it the new alum. bearings?
