I recently asked the same question on another talk show and yes, it can be done. You can get a 7721 for less that half the cost of a self propelled combine. I was told that the widest platform you could put on it was a 216 flex or grain head and a six row corn head. It sounded like it should work, just keep in mind that you will run down crops when you open the field.
