This reply is probably way too late, but I'll try
anyway. The curtain is actually a beater grate
curtain. It hangs off the back of the beater grate
and keeps grain that flies out the back of the
concave from landing on the walkers. Instead, this
grain hits the beater grate curtain and falls
to the shoe area.
