Thanks for the reply, I have a friend that has an R-42 with 6 row corn head, he says it performs better if he is running 5 to 6 miles per hour. R-52 would fit very nicely, but not nearly as many late model gleaners in this area any more. Hope to look at the R-62 tomorrow. This machine is a 1 owner, and I understand they are very particular with the maintenance of their machines as they grow seed beans and wheat. Dealer said they traded in 1 L3(already sold) and 3 R-62's for 1 new machine with a 40' Mcdonn head. I farm part time, a little over 300 acres, but with a machine of this size would farm more acreage if it were available.
