I would consider trying to go with a pkg deal on the 62 and then upgrade to an 8 row planter. 10 years ago I went from a F2 4row/13' to an N6 with a 6row/15'. I had to upgrade to a 6 row planter but it was one of the best things I ever did. I now have a 20' platform and given the hills I have I do not think I would go much wider than 22'. My neighbor has a 22' head on his combine and it works reasonably well.
One thing about a 62 is the hopper size, I went from a 120bu hopper to a 245bu hopper what a difference when unloading. One hopper will fill my 250 bu wagons.
Another thing to think about is look at the wear items on this machine. Although it my be a low hour machine the capacity is so great on these beasts allot of material goes through the machine every clock hour.
