While I was replacing my accelerator rolls on my R75, I noticed that the far left hand side of the rolls was not worn down as far as the rest. Investigating this, I found there is a shield on the left side under the distributions augers. It's about six inches wide. Why can't I remove this shield? It should give me more capacity as it looks like the right hand side of the cleaning shoe over loads first as this is where most of the grain is threshed and the return auger dumps on that side. Any thoughts?
