I started combining canola today for the first time. I am direct cutting. Crop is feeding fine but cylinder is growling with the green stalks and weeds. I am having trouble setting the cleaning shoe. Chaffer is at 3/8 and seive at 1/8. Air is set low, but I am still putting seed out with the chaff. If I choke off the wind their seems to be too much green stuff showing up in the bin.
Cylinder is at about 1/4" and 700rpm. Gleaner F2.
Where shold I start?
