Did you tighten the castings that hold the rubber bushings according to the shop manual? I have never owned a K2 so I can't help you there. L/M series machines are in the middle of the stroke while my current R60 is in the middle for some and to one end for others as I recall. Doing it incorrectly can cause all sorts of vibrations. Secondly, did you lube the bushings when installing them? That’s a definite no-no.
