Is this the first harvesting you have done? In other words is the platform
shiny or rusty. I find it takes about half a days
work to get it to shine up and feed smoothly at the beginning of the season.
If it is smooth then you may need floor strippers
in barley. These are angles bolted to the platform floor under the
feed auger stopping about 1 to 2 feet before the feederhouse opening
that stop the material repeating around the auger.
