Jim, Your large sheave should be fine.Starting cylinder speed should be round 500rpm.Concave clearance around 5/8". Straw walkers should be pulled all the way back.Cob screens should be installed under the walkers to keep them from plugging.Add a third lever to your chaffer and run it forward with a piece of steel and cut the front six rows of louvers loose and attach to the third lever.This will increase shoe capacity tremendously.Good luck and if you have further questions or problems let us know.You may want to post on main page as a lot of us forget to stay up on these pages.
