Shoe loss in corn is not generally a problem unless there is a rpm problem. #1 is the fan belt slipping on the rh lower side. hook the spring in the front hole and or replace belt. Is your RPM on the eng 2450 at high idle? Must be. And it must be correctly checked and set. Is the fan in good shape? Splitter straight and true. No plugs in the upper or lower air duct? Do you have a corn chaffer? You need a 25tooth sprocket on the RH end of cyl and raise or remove the metal swinging curtain over the upper raddle for evertyhing except wheat. Just some things to check.
