Gleaner K plugging

My Gleaner K with L.P. 2-row head gets plugged below the
clean grain screen with corn leaves quite frequently.
Also the straw walkers (set 1/2 way back) plug up with
cobs/pieces fairly often. Any remedies appreciated.
