We haven’t planted wheat since about ’91 because of diseases, but when we did we never had cracking with an M2 and L2. Yields were usually below 50 bu for winter and spring wheat.

By 1/2 moon chaffer do you mean the round tooth? That’s what we used for small grains.

By the way, we have irrigation from Mother Nature that I would like to shut off so we can plant a crop. We had hoped to be in the field by May 15th but rain yesterday makes that look like a pipe dream
