John McCall's Oil Change Tip

To change the hydraulic filter on an N or R series Gleaner, take a shop-vac type vacuum and place a rag over the spout and stick it into the hydraulic oil reservoir and turn vacuum on.  By doing this, you are creating a suction to hold the oil up while you take off the filter. You will still get a little on your hands, but far better than what's all up there in it.
