well as of right now i am not very happy with agco on the combine side of things. our new 9790 arrived at our dealer thursday went up and took a look at it saturday and brought the manaual home, well i was reading the fieldstar2 book, and i noticed that it does not show fuel use per hour anymore, along with percent engine power used, well at least the book i show it don't have that in any of the options listed. maybe it does have it on there if so can somebody tell me! i had people of other brands of combines riding with me in the cab of the old fieldstar and were braggin about fuel use per hour and engine load and how theirs didn't show it. well now agco had to go and screw that one up i could have saw not having that stuff on the cummins motor but for crying out loud its their own motor how much did it cost to have that in there only pennies!!! i will agree it will be nice seeing the tilt on the screen of the monitor and boost as well! but things like engine oil pressure, hydralic oil temp, are not needed they are on the EIP. looks to me like agco is going back to the same old ways of doing away with the nice things to have on a combine, no it wasn't a necessity but it sure made me feel good when other brands of combine operators were braggin about it, now i have to tell them they did away with it, when their combines now have it on there, another one of agco wrong moves, maybe its on there but my book don't show it, i know i'm gonna raise some heck down at lousiville and tell the fieldstar people what i think of that move!!!! it sure was nice looking at the fuel use running through the field thats for sure!!! other wise what does everybody think of the new fieldstar looks pretty nice other than missing the things i mentioned? sure looks like you might have to adjust it when moving down the road though maybe i'm wrong. well i think thats all.
