SCH roller guides worth it or not?

we have bought a new MF 8200 flex head, and since it was new we are debating about going with the roller guide options since we wouldn't have to go with a new knife back since its brand new. wanting to know the pros and cons of them. i am planning on if we do go ahead and get to purchase it at lousiville so save a little money on it, any help would be appreciated. thanks
