I had been plagued by very slow action from the cylinder for swinging the unloading auger on my MF750.
First I topped up the hydraulic fluid with no effect. Figuring it was the fluid bypassing the piston seals, I tried changing the seals, but I couldn't get the new plastic piston rings on without breaking them. So I got a brand new cylinder. I was disappointed that it made no difference.
I next attacked the valve. What I found was chaff packed into the return spring that severely restricted the stroke of the valve. This appeared to be the culprit. After reassembling the valve, I got lots of speed in the swing of the unloading auger.
Half way through my soys this week, I again encountered very slow unloader swing. A good blast of my air gun at the exposed spring at the rear of the unloader valve cured the problem.
