Do you put grease in the gear boxes every couple of seasons? How about the stalk roll shafts do they move for and aft alot, if so I bet your top bearing holders are distorted enough, that you are going to have to replace. It is effectively your back lash setting on the 2 right angle bevel gears. At least one of the aftermarket Co makes one I bet is 3 times as heavy as the original OEM. It is the same thing as any sperical bearing setting in a flange. You know how sometimes they get loose, either wear or bent out enough then the bearing can effectively come forward, thus your gears are not meshing correctly.
