One other thing I am not sure about and that is I feel MF at least in the ole 63, 83 book shows installation of the trash (weed knives) put on backwards. I put them on the other way. I install them like you would place your tool bit on a lathe. Or like I would sharpen a screw driver on bench grinder. You do not want to concentrate the heat to the tip of the point. But MF may have changed this when they did away with offset angle iron and went to channel on the snapping rolls. I am not sure and do not have a 1100 series book to confirm
