put new feeder chain, rotors & beater in my 97 before wheat..report

last winter, i was looking for a new feeder chain for my 97 on the net. was really looking for one with poly slats, didn't know of any aftermarket makes but figured someone had one?

and way, i found one with urethane slats. the same site had a staggered beater design along with a staggered rotor for the NH TR's............these designs looked very interesting to me. got to emailing with the owner and ended getting a beater, rotors & feeder chain.

this discharge beater design is so far ahead of the NH, there is no comparison! if you think the NH TR has a great chopper & spreader........this beater only makes it that much better still!

anyway, i installed all the parts and cut my SRW wheat and could not have been more pleased with all the parts! the feeder chain is unbelievable, if you didn't know it was there you would think it had a vac sucking the crop in as there is absolutley NO noise coming form the feeder anymore. this chain is double the price of the OEM, but i'm glad i went with it. as my old chain sounded like a bunch of sledge hammers in the throat. the rotors are balanced well with lil vibration at high speeds. i think this rotor design will really shine in corn, and i'll know in a month or so. but in wheat, i had a slightly cleaner sample than with my old rotors. he uses Loewen bars on the rotors.

i can't say enough good things about these parts or the owner of the business as he is a great person. been very helpful and was very anxious to hear how my parts where performing. he asked me often was i noticing better fuel usage, as he said the his rotors & beater would have less HP requirements..................................but i had never really paid much attention with the old parts so i couldn't answer that fairly. But, what i did notice was motor oil consumption was nil. usually, harvest my wheat crop i will add a quart or 2 to while cutting wheat. as i change my oil before each crop. well, with his parts......i added no oil. so i would assume that there was less demand on the motor with his parts???

anyway, i am in no way in connection with this company other than being a satisfied customer thus far! just offering this to anyone interested for what it's worth?

google precision farm parts if interested for more info....JD
