Any Bugs in the Early CRs?

My neighbor has 2 new CRs and loves them. He replaced 3 TXs. I have a Case 1688 and am thinking of changing to yellow, and not to an overweight CAT. Because of my farm size I'd likely be looking at used. Did the early CRs have any problems that I should know about? When did they start, in 03?
